For years, we knew that the solution to sharing your projects with the media was to avoid the 'scattergun' approach. It's important to be smart about how you distribute your projects to journalists. But not everyone has the time or knowledge to do that effectively. That's why we invented Autopilot.

What is Autopilot?

Powered by smart-matching – through BowerBird AI – you're now able to drip-feed your projects out to the best contacts at each publication. You used to have to do this manually, but now it's automatic.

In short, you should turn this on for any project you want to share widely and often with the media – particularly online.

We will also soon be launching 'Recipes' which allow you to further control the distribution through Autopilot.

How to Turn Autopilot On/Off

Turning Autopilot on is as simple as:

  1. Click the three dots on the BowerKit thumbnail:

  2. Click 'Dashboard':

  3. Toggle Autopilot to ON:

Depending on your subscription, you'll be able to reject 3 or more automated submissions, but remember, they have been assessed as your best options for getting projects published.
